You said that you wanted real feedback so here it is: I love the idea of what you are trying to do here. However, I think that you need to simplify the shot (this is something that I am bad at doing); there are too many things to look at. I would have liked to seen the framing of the lovers on the canvas where the burnt part of the canvas appears on the bottom third of the photo.

@Austin: I agree. When I look at this now I see to much going on with all of the randomness in the background. I'm playing around with different crops on it and also background selection to reduce it's impact. Thanks for the comment!
